7th-12th Grade: Confirmation
Confirmation is a one-year exploration of the Christian faith and its relations to other faiths. Students are encouraged to engage their beliefs in a critical manner one-on-one with their mentors, with the pastor, and in large group Round Tables. Mission trips and retreats like the 30-Hour famine and Chicago Urban Immersion add a more experiential flavor.

February 17 & 18)- Comparative Religions Weekend

A two-day event to experience Judaism, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism firsthand. The event will begin with dinner on Friday night, followed by services at Emanuel Jewish Temple in Waukesha. We'll worship at a mosque on Saturday and visit a Hindu Temple.

March 2-4- Intergenerational Mission Trip to Chicago

  • We'll be joining with First Congregational UCC in Oconomowoc to get hands-on with mission projects in Chicago. Action and reflection mark the weekend.

March 9-11- "The Fast That Lasts"
  • With the other UCC churches of the greater Milwaukee/Waukesha area, we will fast for the weekend to see what it feels like to live in hunger, as well as hands-on working in a food kitchen and a shelter. Reflection time will center around why people are hungry, and what in our own hungry bodies would keep us from doing the things we usually do in our lives.
